Feeling the pressure to make an important life decision can create stress and anxiety, especially if trying to handle it alone.
Sometimes it's a hard goodbye, a break up or moving. Other times it is a new start, like heading off to college alone, and trying to make new friends, while choosing your major.
It can be difficult finding a new identity and making meaningful choices for your future. Consulting with a professional can help with these issues in a way that's not biased. I can help you cope with the changes in your life in a healthy and positive way.
While aging is natural process for all of us, it may present challenges for some. The aging body can experience pain and mobility issues that affects physical health. As we know, physical and emotional health are interconnected and those who lose their ability to move or suffer pain in their bodies can experience a loss of freedom and depression and anxiety symptoms.
Aging populations may also experience issues with dementia, delirium and suffer from sleep and sexual problems. They also may experience isolation, depression and loss of their spouse or loved one.
Shame and guilt can also stem from feeling like a burden on their caretakers or disappointment in not being able to do activities they once enjoyed.
I can help Seniors with mental health issues in the transition of aging, with compassion and respect.
There are many types of grief and loss, such as divorce, miscarriage, retirement, empty nesters, loss of a pet and break ups but one of the most challenging to cope with is the loss of a loved one.
Losing someone you love causes emotional suffering. Some even suffer with spirituality. Closure is sometimes not available and mental health can deteriorate with symptoms of anxiety and depression.
You may experience shock, disbelief, anger, guilt and deep sadness. You may also lose sleep and may feel as if you're in a fog and not thinking clearly. Grief affects everyone differently and it may be necessary to stay close to those you love. It may also be time for you to be alone and have space to yourself. Whatever you feel, its okay.
It is, however, very important to consult with a professional and process your grief in a safe, effective and compassionate way. I can help with bereavement and symptoms from grief and loss. It is important to take care of yourself in this moment. Allow me to help.
